Hi all, I'll be staying in Bur Dubai early April, can anyone suggest somewhere I can get a decent massage? Am female so not looking for any dodgy backstreet places, lol! There is a spa in our hotel but prices are pretty high and although I'm sure the experience will be very nice, Id like to look at other options too.

Stay for a while outside and see whether their clientele include female or whether they are all male. Some seem genuine but are not. I am traveling to Dubai on Friday, and then Abu Dhabi. Can anyone give an update to this question? I am male and looking for deep tissue from a female. Is there an reasonably priced therapist that knows how to do deep tissue in either or both cities?
Same sex massage is the norm in the UAE. In an official spa you won't get a massage from a female staff member. Seemed ok and it was done by a female. Maybe as we were getting a couples massage they used two females. If it was just me they may have given me a male. Price was AED which i thought was reasonable for the hour. Profile JOIN.
