Stayed here recently So where do I start.. No headboard on bed , only one very flat pillow plaster cracked paid for B and B. Got the bed but no breakfast. Woke up starving anyway kitchen was upstairs but it was locked no staff around knocked on door but no answer skirting boards manky divan part of bed ripped.
Light switch out side bathroom missing the switch part Floor in bathroom sticky No tea or coffee maker as advertised look at the pictures and decide. I for one will never stay here again how has this place passed as a B and B? Just no. Delapidated house.
Staff unhelpful in any way. Light did not work in room. No hand towels in toilet. There is no breakfast. There was a kettle with no way to fill it. There was torn open boxes of cereal but no bowls. It should be shut down. A dirty disgusting dump.. It does not have Wi-Fi as advertise Evergreen house needs to be closed down it is so bad Its not fit for its purpose. Do not stay at Evergreen House. Do not be conned by the photographs, they do not represent this accommodation.
They were probably taken about 5 years ago by the previous owner. The garden is overgrown, and the accommodation is of a terrible standard. I have reported this to the Youghal Tourist Board. Breakfast is not English or Irish its help yourself.
Do not be conned into paying cash because that is what they will ask for. My room was damp and dirty, give this place a wide berth. We went there with my parents, we booked two rooms, some people did some hard noices until 3 am, impossible to sleep,there was some blood in our door room on the morning What can I say That was the worst night of my life!
